Trip to Chopok
Some places you see in photographs. And then there are places you simply have to experience for yourself. Chopok is one of them.
We return here whenever we want to switch off for a while and remind ourselves why we love Liptov.
You can reach the top comfortably by cable car from Jasná or choose a hiking trail and enjoy the beauty of the mountain nature up close. Even during the ascent, you will be accompanied by panoramic views, mountain meadows and a typical Tatra atmosphere.

Along the way, you can enjoy a photo point, a mountain viewpoint finder, a panoramic swing, and a peaceful relaxation zone. The trail is free to access during the summer season and is suitable for families with children.
Mountains have their own rules and the weather here can change literally in a few minutes. If you are going to Chopok, set off as early as possible in the morning - in addition to greater safety, you will also enjoy quieter trails and more beautiful views.
When we returned to Jasná Escape that evening, we made ourselves some tea and agreed on one thing – you can visit Chopok time and again, but the experience is never quite the same.
